Welcome to Ellergill House Barn
Ellergill House Barn is a Grade II Listed barn in a scenic, rural location in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The barn has spectacular views in all directions. It dates from the early 19th century and was listed during its restoration in 2019 due to its age, unusual size and its interesting historical features, such as the Baltic timber markings, which can be seen throughout.
The barn is set out over three storeys. The first holiday accommodation to have been completed, the Boskins, covers the lower ground floor of the barn where there were originally livestock stalls (boskins) and stables.
Ellergill House Barn is surrounded by stunning countryside.
The barn is located 10-15 minutes’ walk outside the village of Embsay and overlooks Skipton Golf Course. The village boasts a shop/post office, church, café, 2 pubs and even a crossfit gym. The barn is about 30 minutes’ walk (1.5 miles) from the market town of Skipton, known as the “Gateway to the Dales”, which has numerous shops, bars and restaurants and hosts an outdoor market 4 times a week.
